Coming Soon - Business as Usual

A couple of my regular readers - remarkably there are one or two - have commented that my recent posts haven't had quite the usual hint of cynicism and 'world-weariness' that they have come to expect.

Whilst I find it hard to believe that I am ever cynical and anything other than upbeat and jolly I will acknowledge that I have been feeling particularly chipper just recently.

I put this down to the recent fine weather and a weeks annual leave from the salt mine. During this time I was able to catch up on some reading, take care of one or two jobs around the home and garden, and support my dear wife as she began her new career at the coat-hanger factory.

To those that are longing for the 'good old days' I have one or two words of encouragement: it's currently pouring down with rain and I am back to work this week - it can only be a matter of time before it's business as usual for The Savage Rabbit.
